On Wednesday April 19, 2017t he Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History and the Woodrow Wilson Centre as brought together leaders across the North American Arctic to discuss building a future of cooperation in the Arctic region.

The conference also featured the launch of the Council on Foreign Relations Arctic Task Force Report.

Modern Diplomacy: A Conversation and Book Launch

On October 25, Canada's 21st Prime Minister Paul Martin and former Foreign Minister Lloyd Axworthy discussed modern diplomacy and Canada's place in the world in a conversation moderated by Chancellor of Trinity College Bill Graham, former foreign and defence minister.

This event was also the Canadian launch of the Oxford Handbook of Modern Diplomacy, to which Martin and Axworthy are both contributors. Two of the volume's editors, Andrew Coopers and Jorge Heine, provided opening remarks.
